I've never seen a cornetfish anywhere except on Bonaire or Curacao, NA, where they are somewhat common. They stay very close to the bottom, which makes it difficult to get beneath them for a photo with a clear background. This photo is more cluttered than I'd like, but it was the best I could do. These primitive-looking fish can reach lengths of six feet, but this one was about half that size.
