West Indian Manatee (Trichechus manatus)

The following 6 photos are from that trip. The manatees were not congregated due to unseasonably warm weather, but we found a few subjects in clean water. Fog and haze limited the light and apparently allowed only high frequency light through, which made these photos unusually blue.
