This was an odd event. Sharon and I had a stowaway on The POS--an anole that had apparently dropped into the boat before it was launched. We were aware of the lizard's presence, and we were careful not to step or sit on it during our outing. We had tied The POS to a cypress knee late in the day, and we were quietly sipping frappuccinos in the shade, when I heard a tiny crunch behind me. Our stowaway anole had bagged itself a nice, fat dragonfly on the engine cowl. I picked up the camera and made this photo. I didn't even have to get up.
