Alligator Bayou is generally tough going during the dog days of summer, but Sharon and I were able to negotiate the hydrilla, duckweed, and hyacinth relatively easily on this day in mid-August. We were cruising Bayou Braud when I asked her to spot a snake for me. I had this photo within 30 minutes.
